Downtown Chandler Community Foundation (DCCF)

The Downtown Chandler Community Foundation (DCCF) is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit charitable foundation.   The DCCF focuses on programs and projects that enhance Historic Downtown Chandler and fill critical community needs.   The DCCF supports 501(c) 3 nonprofit organizations that assist the community and residents within the District as well as special projects in Downtown Chandler.  In addition to grants, the DCCF coordinates gift baskets for charitable silent auctions consisting of items and gift cards from Downtown merchants.

Downtown Special Events

Events wishing to take place in the Downtown Chandler Enhanced Municipal Services District will need to have their proposed event reviewed by the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership (DCCP). This review process must be done prior to the application being presented to the City of Chandler Special Events Committee.

Organizations may also request to use the Downtown Chandler Community Foundation (DCCF) liquor license for an event.   The DCCF is a nonprofit organization and has a limited number of special event liquor licenses.   The City of Chandler and the Foundation require 50% of the gross liquor sales to be shared with the DCCF as part of the agreement to use a DCCF liquor license.   The DCCF will be the nonprofit partner on your special event application to the City of Chandler.   There will be a separate agreement clearly establishing the roles, responsibilities and distribution of funds between the two entities.   Please contact us if you would like to partner on a Downtown Chandler event.

Steps to Apply for a Downtown Chandler event:

  • Contact the DCCP first to discuss DCCF/Liquor License partnership
  • Complete & submit a City of Chandler Special Event Application on the City’s website
  • Send the Special Events Application to the City of Chandler and the DCCP – all components to the grant request to the DCCP must be submitted in ONE document.

2.)    Park Fees – Starting July 1, 2015, fees for the West Side of Dr. A.J. Chandler Park are eligible for the DCCF fee waiver.
