Thanks to the luck of the Irish, St. Patty's Day lands on a Friday this year. Here are 2 Different ways you can Celebrate.

Feb. 21, 2017

Chandler, Ariz. – The Irish, and those that magically become Irish on the elusive St. Patty’s Day can rest easy knowing the holiday falls on a Friday this year. Taking advantage of their Irish luck, the Chandler Art Walk has themed their upcoming show the Shamrockin’ Art Walk. Irish music and over 30 local artisans will gather in downtown Chandler on Friday, Mar. 17, from 6:00-9:30 p.m. for this free-to-attend event.

Music for the Shamrockin' Art Walk will be provided by Phoenix band, Kilted Spirit, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Handmade artisan products vary, ranging from woodwork pieces, paintings, illustrations, jewelry, and more. Many of the vendors have items priced at just $50 or less, with most accepting credit cards. Each month brings new artists to the event, so each Art Walk is different.

The event is located in Dr. A.J. Chandler Park, west, with walkability to locally-owned restaurants and bars to truly make a night of it. To top things off, the nearby Irish bar, Murphy’s Law Irish Pub, will have another event across Arizona Ave., the first annual ShamRockFest. This event will feature bands playing on the Downtown Stage, a beer garden, and more. Tickets are on sale now for the event.

The art walk event is made possible through the sponsorship by Renewal by Andersen of Phoenix. Stay updated on the Chandler Art Walk by following the Facebook Event. The ShamRockFest also has a Facebook Event.
