Chandler Museum and The Ostrich host third Trivia Night with ‘Hipstorian’
Tikis, travel and tangerines at the coolest speakeasy in the Valley
CHANDLER, Ariz. – The Chandler Museum and The Ostrich Bar are once again
hosting Trivia Night from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, hosted by
Marshall Shore, Arizona’s Hip Historian.
This will be the third in a series of trivia nights coordinated by the
Museum and The Ostrich. Attendees will enjoy Tiki Tuesday while learning
about the tiki kitsch of the past. They hear stories of Chandler as a
travel destination for the stars, the City’s place on Route 66 and a bit
about the area’s citrus history, all while sipping the best cocktails in

Museum Administrator at Chandler Museum. “People can learn more about the
place where they live while going out and having a good time with friends.
All of the local stories and photos that are shared are from the Museum’s
“Our first two events were a great success; people couldn’t stop talking
about how much they loved them,” says Mike Merendino, owner of The Ostrich
and the upstairs restaurant, Crust. “We think this is going to be one of
the best. Wear your Hawaiian shirt and lei for an evening of fun.”
The Ostrich is located in the basement of Crust, near the San Marcos, at 10
N. San Marcos Place, in downtown Chandler. In addition to cocktails created
by celebrated mixologist Brandon Casey, some of the savory bites that have
made Crust a foodie destination will also be on the menu.
Reservations are required for teams of four to six to take part in the fun.
