DOWNTOWN CHANDLER SUMMER FOOD DRIVE

Benefiting Chandler Christian Community Center

Chandler, Ariz. – During the month of July, the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership will be coordinating the Downtown Chandler Food Drive benefiting the Chandler Christian Community Center.

Donors will not only experience the altruistic high that comes when giving to others, Downtown Chandler Community Partnership is hoping to provide another reason to give to the drive; a chance to win a prize. “We’re wanting to make the act of giving a little more fun, so we included giving two items to the drive as a task in our Downtown Chandler Summer Bingo Game,” Karli Ragan, Marketing and Events Manager of Downtown Chandler Community Partnership said. “Essentially, the bingo game is a chance to have fun and stay cool in Downtown Chandler. If you turn in a completed bingo with proof, you will be entered in a chance to win a prize,” Ragan said. More information on the bingo game can be found here.

“We realize there are families in need in our community, and simply, we’re wanting to make a difference in their lives, especially when food supplies are low. But, we need your help,” says Downtown Chandler Community Partnership Executive Director, Beth Fiorenza.   Items most needed are nonperishable items that can be easily prepared for a meal; items like soups, pasta sauces, canned veggies, cereal and mac and cheese. Other items needed include diapers and baby food and pop-top cans for the homeless. Drop off locations are available throughout the downtown area:

  • Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 N. Arizona Ave.

  • Sibley’s West: The Chandler & Arizona Gift Shop, 72 S. San Marcos Place
