Each year the Downtown Chandler Community Foundation will conduct two formal grant application cycles. One cycle in the Spring and one in the Fall. Each successful applicant will receive a grant up to $2,000 for a minimum of one year.
The DCCF will consider funding for:
1) Projects, programs and special events of other non profits, service organizations or businesses supporting projects that meet a critical community need within the Historic Downtown Chandler area or relative proximity. Programs that bring large numbers of people downtown who will most likely frequent the shops and restaurants of Historic Downtown Chandler will be given extra consideration.
2) Special projects that enhance Historic Downtown Chandler – i.e. park enhancements that aren’t covered by the City of Chandler.
3) Grants to business owners to attend economic development or small business development conferences. In return, the conference attendee will formally share information gained by attending the conference with other Downtown Chandler business owners for mutual benefit.
Note: Funded organizations need to be within the Enhanced Municipal District. Organizations outside the district but within the boundaries of the City of Chandler, will be considered only if additional funds are available.
